Shipping policy

  1. Shipping Methods:
    • We currently offer a selection of service levels of shipping by Post, United Parcel Service (UPS), and FedEx. Occasionally we may, at our option, change your selection to a faster speed of service with any of those shippers, at no increase in cost to you.
  2. Shipping Costs:
    • Shipping costs are typically determined by the shipping carrier API’s which may take weight, density, and location into account. We may have shipping minimums or handling charges incorporated to help offset packaging cost.
  3. Shipping Times:
    • Shipping time estimates for each method and carrier are provided where available and estimated when not. These estimates should be very close for in-stock items that don’t have further processing required (such as name/logo/number imprinting).
    • Potential delays due to holidays, back-to-school high order volumes requiring additional processing time, or other factors may impact shipping estimates.
  4. Tracking Orders:
    • Tracking numbers will be provided with every service that supports a tracking number, to follow the delivery progress of your order.
  5. International Shipping:
    • Non-Canadian, non-USA orders* may have duty, tax, and brokerage added as required by customs in your country and the shipping policy of the carriers on Incoterms “CPT” shipments.
    • *US orders (only when via Post) may have taxes or duty added when over $2500 USD.
  6. Lost or Damaged Packages:
    • We should be contacted first regarding lost, damaged, or stolen packages , which will be handled by the shipping carrier’s claims process with full support from us.
    • Retain packaging; clear photos of package and contents will help speed this up for refund and/or replacement at our discretion while working with the carrier. Damaged product return may be required.
  7. Address Accuracy:
    • UPS charges fees for address correction, as an example. You are entirely responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses to avoid delivery issues. Auto-form fillers must be checked.
  8. Shipping Fees and Taxes:
    • Non-Canadian, non-USA orders* may have duty, tax, and brokerage added as required by customs in your country and the shipping policy of the carriers, on Incoterms “CPT” shipments. You are responsible for such importation charges.
    • *US orders (only when shipped via Post) may have taxes or duty and brokerage added when over the de minimus value of $800 USD per box. You are responsible for such charges.
    • Other US orders: When we attain Economic Nexus in any given state we may start adding state tax at checkout, but if you are required to self-assess and remit state Sales Tax on out-of-state mail orders, we leave that as your responsibility.
    • Otherwise, you should see correct tax listed in checkout.
  9. Holiday Shipping:
    • Carriers often publish early ‘cut-off’ dates for holidays such as Christmas.  We don’t guarantee shipments but we do give best estimates; we will publish such dates for each carrier here when we can.
    • We are typically closed from just before Christmas to early in the new year and orders will be received but may not be processed until we return.
