The two-pocket Choir RingBinder for those who mainly hole-punch their music
"But I want two pockets!" -- that's what you told us, so that's what we've added -- for choral singers, directors, or conductors who mainly rely on hole-punched sheet music. It's also compatible with magazine holders, which can fit into the rings and retain larger scores and sheet music that is not hole-punched.
Much like our other folders, the Choir RingBinder is durable, lightweight, and ergonomic -- we have closed the bottom pocket corners too so a tuning fork can't slip out (if you're not using our simple and inexpensive PocketTones yet). It features a bottom strap that can be unbuttoned on one side so that the folder can be easily held in one hand at an ideal angle, or lay flat.
A set of 1" locking rings is solidly mounted within the folder, and opens with the push of a single button. In addition, a snag-free interlock prevents paper from being caught during page turns, which is very important during recording so that the page turns aren't heard.
The convenient and comfortable hand strap at the back of the Choir RingBinder allows you to hold it easily with one hand, and the deeply-textured leatherette helps dissipate the perspiration that can occur under hot stage lighting.
Both pockets expand at left and right so you can organize as you are used to. All folders come with a name card pocket and card itself, and hold US Letter and A4 and all common score sizes with ease. As the Choir RingBinder only has a SINGLE booster tab at its bottom, taller European A4 music that has been punched in the 3-hole style common to North America will not come in contact with a booster tab at the top -- so your sheet music won't push against an upper tab.
Finally, a clear pocket option is available on the folder's left, or both left and right pockets; this allows for quick and discreet reading of a concert program or church service bulletin, rather than having to pull up a program to see the lower portion of the page. It's also perfect for storing readily-accessible notes, such as changes in your standing order and directors' rehearsal plans. Photos are often found within the clear pocket as well -- especially among touring choirs.
A strapless version of this folder is also available for accompanists, bands, and directors -- click No-Straps Band / Director RingBinder with Two Expanding Pockets for more information.

1-inch vs. 1.5-inch diameter rings and shelving considerations:
The larger rings are useful if you have a ton of music sheets, and you like to have them mostly hole punched. Remember, for the purpose of storage of folders in slots/cabinets, that this number is the ring diameter, not the total folder height when laying it flat like a book in a slot.
The total height of the folder when flat includes the cover, and the pockets, on each side of the ring, and that hand-strap and its rivet, in our folders with handstraps -- and the low-profile button too, if you are totally enclosing each folder.
It's safe to start with an estimate of 3/8" on each side of the ring, (i.e. 1 ¾" before adding music in the pockets), but if you love stuffing the expanding pocket(s) full of extra music not held in the rings, please don't forget to add that, too. If you're a church with regularly used hymnals that aren't stored elsewhere, add that height as well!
