For rehearsal spaces with uneven lighting, for touring to venues where you're unsure of lighting conditions, or (especially for orchestra) - the savings in time and hassle to set up bulky extension cords and lights - having one of these lights is always a bright idea.

When singers come prepared with these lights it affords the choral director the artistic flexibility of changes in choir positioning anywhere within a venue, for a more varied and interesting performance experience, while singers can see every note.

We have several lights for you to choose from:

1. The Xtraflex L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diode) light

Features:

  • 100,000-hour LED bulb never needs replacing (put another way - if you're a young singer, you should be retired by the time it might)
  • Up to 40 hours of light if used with alkaline batteries
  • Runs on AAA batteries (3). Starter set of batteries included
  • Light is cast with even illumination and no 'hot spots'
  • Color temperature is excellent for contrast to see notes clearly
  • Head wraps all around to shield the bulb from distracting audience
  • Wide padded clip for secure attachment to a thin folder, a piano stand, or a thick wood podium. The light can also be used free-standing on its base
  • Extremely light in weight
  • Adjustable stem for precise positioning

2. The Xtraflex DUET

For singers who just want more light, instrumentalists who need a wider light dispersion, or for the accompanist who should never be without one - this light has similar features as above except:

  • two heads extend from the base
  • up to 20 hours of light if used with alkaline batteries

3. The Xtraflex DUET2 (the double double - for intense illumination)

  • two heads with two bulbs each
  • switches let you burn 1, 2, 3, or 4 lights to balance light intensity and battery life
  • this light comes with an AC adaptor and extra-long cord to use with power if you wish

4. The Xtraflex light cradle

  • holds any of the Xtraflex lights listed above
  • strong magnet in base attaches to upper (or lower) side of metal stand
  • padded non-slip feet help for more stable positioning (ie on an upright piano)

5. LED Orchestra Light (illuminates up to 4 pages)

  • 9 LEDs illuminate up to four pages
  • Wide base holds three AA batteries for extended power
  • shield below bar keeps light from distracting musicians
  • A/C power adaptor included
  • zippered case stores light (gooseneck bends for light to be flat)
  • The ultimate portable light for conductors or instrumentalists
  • efficient LEDs give off almost no heat.
  • Power switch allows full and medium brightness settings
