January 2008 Specials - while quantities last
We've had a VERY busy 2007 with sales growth of over 20%. Out of many tens of thousands of folders, our quality control inspectors pull out a regular quantity of "factory seconds" that have issues that are relatively insignificant. In any case, I'm not content to send them out as a top quality folder from this company. We call these "Grade A" factory seconds.
Normally we stock these up for local choral festivals and the earliest singers to the trade fair displays scour our bins of Grade A folders to buy them at a discount, and choir directors sometimes take full orders for their choirs, saving hundreds of dollars.
Now, we're running out of space (our building didn't expand by 20%) and are clearing these folders out. This January, price on factory seconds has dropped to $19.95 for "Grade A", and $16.95 for "Grade B" factory second folders (details below).
Factory Seconds: Grade "A" - may have
marks, scratches or a small tear inside, or when closed, will not close "square"
within our tolerances (one outer edge corner may be higher than
the other). They may have small scratches, a small crease, or other small marks on the
outside. They may have refurbished hand straps or replaced rivets, sometimes with a bit of reinforcing on the inside if deemed necessary. None of this will be significant from the audience's point of view. Grade "B" - in addition
to possible issues as with 'grade A', the grade B factory
seconds will have larger dings or scratches on the outside, and/or
be (incorrectly) imprinted, usually in gold foil. With imprinted folders, you can
take a black felt pen and cover the embossing quite well so it
would be hard to notice from the audience.
When people want to add options like adaptor, extra cords, or clear pocket, we just charge the normal price for that upgrade option. In actual fact, despite the catch-all warnings above, singers are often hard-pressed and wide-eyed to see why we call certain folders "factory seconds".
I'm so confident that you'll be happy with them that I'm extending our 30-day full merchandise refund policy to factory seconds this January.
