The normal colour for imprinting is gold, to match the black-and-gold/brass
colour styling of the folders.
However, most other colours
are available by request, on regular text imprinting and logo
imprinting.
At the ordering stage on the
web shopping cart, where contact information is entered, use
the "Special Instructions" box at the bottom to write
your text for imprinting, or the starting number for numbering
(if it is not "1").

charge per order is $7.00 CAD.

Economy Text imprinting is now available both in upper and lower case letters in a serif font (36 Times Roman) that is roughly 3/8"
(1 cm) tall. The maximum number of characters in one line of
text (spaces do count) is 25 when all upper case, and we can usually fit 29 or 30 on a line with upper and lower case letters. You purchase imprinting by the line, per folder.
Economy imprinting may have occasional small voids in foil coverage as it is stamped onto the textured leatherette of the folder. However, as it is debossed right into the textured material this hot foil stamping has good durability.
A repeated line of text (such
as a choir name) is $2.00 per line. Unique lines of text (i.e.
singers' names) are $3.00 each per line.
The usual location for choir
name imprinting is centred in the upper portion of the front of
the folder, approximately 3 to 4 inches (8-10 cm) down from the
top.

Regular text imprinting allows
the use of upper and lower case, and a limited choice of font
styles and sizes. Each line of type is individually cast from
molten metal, then mounted in a heated press and stamped through
foil. An example of type in one of the available fonts is shown
here:
The available font styles are
shown below, and you can specify your chosen font and text in
the "Special Instructions" box as you place your order
on-line; list the corresponding red letter next to the font you
choose. Alternatively, you can phone or fax in your order.
This option is rather expensive
for small numbers of folders, (more than the cost of a folder
for just one or two folders) but the setup costs spread out quickly
for choir-sized orders, and you can experiment with recalculations
of the 'quantity' in the web shopping cart to see the per-folder
cost drop quickly. The regular embossing costs level out or drop
at 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 and 150 folders. This is the best
quality of type available and the colour is gold unless otherwise
requested. On the web shopping cart, it is assumed that Regular
Imprinting is for a repeated line of text. Choirs wanting a quote
with many individual names embossed in this selection of available
fonts can contact us for an individual quote, but multiple individual
names are usually done in Economy due to the setup costs.

Logo Imprinting
If you would like to imprint
a logo on your folders, we need your logo as camera-ready black
and white artwork, or as a print-quality graphics file (absolute
minimum 300 dpi, 600 dpi recommended). As an image, this can
of course include text in your own fonts.
This can really look spectacular,
and again, is more costly for small numbers of folders but rapidly
drops in price for larger orders. You probably want a minimum
number of 25 folders embossed to spread out the set-up costs.
Your logo is imaged onto film, the film is put on a light-sensitive
coated metal plate, exposed under UV light, chemically etched
to transfer the image in relief, and hot-stamped through foil.
You have to add the service
charge for the die to the "Regular Imprinting" per-folder
costs, to know the correct price. Please call us with any questions. Your price for a logo sized up to 4 square inches
(i.e. 2"x2" or 1"x4") is $90 CAD, or up to
8 square inches (i.e. 2"x4") is $160 CAD.
